Gnesen Fire Hall

Location: near Duluth, MN

Description: At the turn of the century, Gnesen Township sought an economical design for their volunteer fire department.  The solution was a tilt-up precast concrete wall panels, open web bar joists with a ballasted flat roof, in-floor radiant heat, and minimal interior finishes.  I was an employee of Architects IV, Inc. at the time, now Kreck Ojard Associates, PA.
